EWO is proud to announce the appointment of Elaine Fenner to the role of President of EWO as of June 9th’s Annual General Meeting. Elaine was elected for a two-year term at the 2020 virtual AGM.
Elaine’s background as Director of Experiential Learning for University of Guelph is the perfect complement to EWO’s expanded mandate beyond co-op and other forms of work-integrated learning to include Experiential Learning.
Her former position as Manager of WIL at Seneca College also provides a solid foundation as to what strong EL, WIL and co-op looks like at both a University and a College in Ontario.
Elaine comments that “serving as President-Elect for the last two years with Ross Johnson as President along with a strong team of Board members, we were able to move EWO forward with our expanded mandate. I am looking forward to continuing our growth and impact as an association that supports, promotes and advocates for Experiential Learning, Co-op and WIL in Ontario”.
EWO is provincial non-profit comprised of post-secondary publicly funded institutions in Ontario that offer co-operative education, work-integrated learning, and experiential learning.
